Taxonomy
Porcellia procera was named by Perner (1907) [Barrande in Perner 1907]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kosov quarry locality (Dlouhá Hora), Kopanina Fm, which is in a Ludlow deep subtidal limestone in the Kopanina Formation of Czechia.

It was recombined as Centrifugus procera by Wagner (2023).
