Taxonomy
Raphistoma tellerensis was named by Rohr (1988). It is not extant. Its type locality is USNM 36394, Teller Quadrangle, Don River area, York Mountain, Seward Peninsula, which is in a Richmondian carbonate wackestone/packstone in the Port Clarence Limestone Formation of Alaska.
It was recombined as Scalites tellerensis by Wagner (1999), Wagner (2023).
