Straparollus minimus was named by Kirchner (1915). It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Archaeosphera minima by Heidelberger and Bandel (1999), Heidelberger (2001), Heidelberger (2007); it was recombined as Archaeosphera minimus by Wagner (2023).
