Taxonomy
Mourlonia (Trechmannia) trochiformis was named by Longstaff (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stanhope in Weardale, which is in a Pendleian carbonate limestone in the Alston Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Euconospira trochiformis by Knight et al. (1960), Thein and Nitecki (1974), Wagner (2023).
