Taxonomy
Tropidodiscus yimgantauensis was named by Yü (1961). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is III-2062/3 Yimgantau, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate limestone in the Saergan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Joleaudella yimgantauensis by Wagner (2023).
