Ophiotrigonum oxfordiense
Taxonomy
Ophiotrigonum oxfordiense was named by Hess (1960). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Naturhistorisches Museum Basel, Holotype M 611. Its type locality is Ophiuroidea, Renggeri-Ton, Les Rouges Terres, Le Bémont, which is in an Oxfordian offshore claystone in the Renggeri-Ton Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Ophiotrigonum.
