Myonia undata

Bivalvia - Sanguinolitidae

Taxonomy
Pholadomya undata was named by Dana (1847). Its type specimen is USNM 3639 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wollongong Point, Illawarra (USNM coll), which is in a Wordian coastal siliciclastic in the Gerringong Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Chaenomya undatus by Laseron (1910); it was recombined as Pyramus undatus by Runnegar (1967); it was recombined as Myonia undata by Fletcher (1932), Waterhouse (1964), Waterhouse (1969) and Waterhouse (1988).
