Exostinus serratus
Taxonomy
Exostinus serratus was named by Cope (1873). Its type specimen is AMNH 1608, a partial skull (a frontal, dentary with teeth, and a lower temporal bar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cedar Creek, which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Exostinus.
