Gobisaurus domoculus
Taxonomy
Gobisaurus domoculus was named by Vickaryous et al. (2001). Its type specimen is IVPP V12563, a skeleton (skull and unknown postcranial material), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Maortu, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial horizon in the Miaogou Formation of China. It is the type species of Gobisaurus. It was considered monophyletic by Vickaryous et al. (2004).
