Elongatoolithus magnus

Taxonomy
Elongatoolithus magnus was named by Zeng and Zhang (1979). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is NO 76901, an egg, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Dongting Basin west, egg site, which is in a Cretaceous terrestrial siliciclastic in the Fenshui'ao Formation of China.
