Taxonomy
Dinosorex anatolicus was named by van den Hoek Ostende (1995). Its type specimen is MTA, Ke 6421, a mandible, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Keseköy, which is in a MN 3 lacustrine claystone/coal in Türkiye.

L. W. van den Hoek Ostende 1995Dinosorex anatolicus is a medium-sized species of Dinosorex. The m1 and m2 bear well-developed entocristids. The outline of the occlusal surface of the P4 is irregularly quadrangular to sub-triangular. The m1/m2 ratio is low (ca. 1.15)
