Youngoolithus xiaguanensis
Taxonomy
Youngoolithus xiaguanensis was named by Zhao (1979). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is IVPP V5783, an egg, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Houzhuang village, Xiaguan Basin (IVPP), which is in a Turonian/Campanian terrestrial mudstone/conglomerate in the Majiacun Formation of China.
