Taxonomy
Parafavreina huaricolcanensis was named by Senowbari-Daryan and Stanley (1986). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is H-4, Huaricolca, which is in a Norian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Chambara Formation of Peru.
