It was assigned to Emarginulinae by Knight et al. (1960), Pacaud and Le Renard (1995) and Harzhauser and Mandic (2001); to Fissurellidae by Stewart (1927), Weisbord (1962), Ladd (1966), Fleming (1966), Szabo (1980), Ladd (1982), Beu et al. (1990), Squires and Goedert (1994) and Todd (2001); to Emarginulidae by Martin (1904), Wilson (1993), Squires and Goedert (1995) and Lozouet et al. (2001); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Emarginulini by Bouchet et al. (2005).
