Caririchnium magnificum
Taxonomy
Caririchnium magnificum was named by Leonardi (1984). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is 25-m-long in situ trackway, a footprint (trackway; plastotype preserved at Museu Câmara Cascudo del-l’Università, Federale di Natal), and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Serrote do Pimenta tracksite (SOES), which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian alluvial fan sandstone/sandstone in the Antenor Navarro Formation of Brazil.
