Glyptospira turrita
Taxonomy
Glyptospira turrita was named by Erwin (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 419259, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM712b, Orogrande, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Hueco Formation of New Mexico.
