It was assigned to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Trochidae by Gordillo (1991) and Zelaya (2004).

Synonyms
  • Margaritella was named by Thiele (1891) [COMMENTS: Junior homonym of Margaritella (Cretaceous of Sepkoski); replaced by Margarella Thiele (1893).]. It is extant.

    It was replaced with Margarella by Thiele (1893).
