Septentrogon madseni
Taxonomy
Septentrogon madseni was named by Kristoffersen (2002) [type is preserved in a concretion]. Its type specimen is MGUH VP 3496, a partial skull (neurocranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ejerslev Industrial Pit (Museum Mors collection), which is in a Ypresian offshore diatomite in the Fur Formation of Denmark. It is the type species of Septentrogon.
