Taxonomy
Elopteryx nopcsai was named by Andrews (1913). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Szentpéterfalva, Hateg Basin, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone in the Sînpetru Formation of Romania.
