ReferenceDiagnosis
F. Bachmayer and R. W. Wilson 1970Mesostyles slightly more developed than in Galerix exilis? p2 with single alveolus. Posterior cingula of m1 and m2 continuous to the tips of the entoconids
C. G. Rümke 1976 (Galerix atticus)A medium-sized Galerix species (length of m1 is ca 2.80 mm). The p2 is two rooted, the paraconid of the p4 is separated from the protoconid-metaconid crest. Lower molars with a narrow trigonid, m1 and m2 with large entosytlid, connected with a strong posterior cingulum; posterior arm of the hypoconid ending at the base of - but sharply separated from - the entoconid. Lingual cusps of M2 (and M1?)forming a high, sharp ridge that is clearly separated from the metaconule.
