Trischizolagus maritsae

Taxonomy
Trischizolagus maritsae was named by de Bruijn et al. (1970). It is not extant. Its type specimen is IVAU MA- 1301 mandible dext. with p3-m3, a mandible. Its type locality is Maritsa, which is in a MN 13 fissure fill horizon in Greece.

H. de Bruijn et al. 1970P2 having one persistent anterior fold, upper molariform teeth with walls of hypostria only slightly folded. p3 with anteroexternal, anterior, and anterointernal folds on trigonid, posteroexternal fold between trigonid and talonid; posterointernal fold present on unworn p3 but variable on worn p3, where it may be absent, and if present is short transversely.
