Coelurosaurichnus largentierensis

Taxonomy
Coelurosaurichnus largentierensis was named by Courel and Demathieu (1976). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is piste VIII, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Le Roubreau tracksite, Largentière mine, which is in an Anisian/Ladinian terrestrial sandstone in the Grès Inférieurs du Roubreau Formation of France.

It was synonymized subjectively with Coelurosaurichnus perriauxi by Gand and Demathieu (2005).

L. Courel and G. Demathieu 1976Empreinte tridactyle, aux orteils III et IV relativement épais, terminés par des griffes assez fortes. Le premier rayon est assez court, sa griffe atteint l'extremité distale de l'avant dernier coussinet del'empreinte du 3ème. Le quatrième orteil est plus long et la pointe de sa griffe n'atteint pas tout à fait le niveau de la base de la griffe du 3ème. Les rayons sont peu divergents, l'angle II-IV est de l'ordre de 30–35°. Un coussinet postérieur prolongeant le IV ainsi que le III est quelquefois visible.
