Samonycteris majori
Taxonomy
Samonycteris majori was named by Revilliod (1917). Its type specimen is MGL, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossil collection from Samos Island in the Geological Museum of Lausanne, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in Greece. It is the type species of Samonycteris.
