Anthropornis grandis
Taxonomy
Pachypteryx grandis was named by Wiman (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Snow Hill, next to, which is in a Bartonian coastal sandstone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.
It was recombined as Anthropornis grandis by Brodkorb (1963), Simpson (1971), Myrcha et al. (2002), Tambussi et al. (2006), Jadwiszczak (2006), Chavez (2007), Jadwiszczak (2012) and Acosta Hospitaleche et al. (2019).
