Strombinophos loripanus
Taxonomy
Strombinophos loripanus was named by Pilsbry and Olsson (1941) [DISTRIBUTION: Pliocene; Ecuador.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Zone H - Canoa Formation, which is in a Piacenzian coastal claystone in the Canoa Formation of Ecuador. It is the type species of Strombinophos.
