Amblycoptus jessiae

Taxonomy
Amblycoptus jessiae was named by Doukas et al. (1995) [Authorship restricted to Doukas, 1995]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is AMPG MA 3296, a mandible (with a1-m2). Its type locality is Maramena, which is in a Turolian alluvial fan conglomerate/marl in the Lefkon Formation of Greece.

C. S. Doukas et al. 1995An intermediate sized Amblycoptus, between A. oligodon and A. topali. A1 with parastyle, P4 has a well developed protocone. The entoconid and entostylid in m1 are neither well separated nor entirely merged.
