Limnoecus truyolsi was named by Gibert (1974). It is not extant. Its type specimen is IMPC 9007, a mandible (Fragment of madible dex. with p4-m2).

J. Gibert 1974 | p4 with one single central crest. In m1 the protoconid and metaconid are situated close to one another. In all lower molars the crista obliqua is situated lingually. An uninetrrupted cingulum runs around m1 and m2. Foramen mentale below the re-entrant valley of m1. The m3 lacks the entocresta and shows a depression in the talonid. Molars pigmented. |
