C. G. Rümke 1974a large Desmanella species, m1-m3 (alveoli) = +/- 4.5 mm. Lower c and p2 small not in line with the rest of the teeth. p4 large, nearly as long and as wide as m3. m2 and m3 relatively narrow. Crista obliqua ending halfway up the metaconid-protoconid crest in m1 and the anterior root of m1, the anterior one bloew p2, but in some specimens below p1 or p3. M1 and M2 with concave posterior margin. M1 with large parastyle, parastyle of M2 and M3 divided.
