Cricetulodon bugesiensis
Taxonomy
Cricetulodon bugesiensis was named by Freudenthal et al. (1998). It is not extant. Its type specimen is FSL 65897, a tooth (m1 inf. sin.). Its type locality is Soblay, excavation from 1949, which is in a MN 10 lacustrine lignite in France.

Anterosinusid in m2 absent, in m3 moderately developed. Anterolophule of M1 simple or forked, labial spur on the anterolophule absent. Mesolophid may be present in m1, generally absent in m2 and m3.
Anterior protolophule absent or present in M1, present in M2 and M3. Mesoloph moderately developed in M1 and M2, practically absent in M3. Anterior metalophule of M1, when present, formed by the mesoloph. Anterior metalophule in M2 generally absent; when present, it is a separate crest or it is formed by the mesoloph. Anterior metalophule in M3 always present. Posterior metalophule in M1 and M2 absent or present. |
