Apocricetus alberti
Taxonomy
Apocricetus alberti was named by Freudenthal et al. (1998). Its type specimen is IVAU CR6 111, a tooth (m1 inf. sin.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Crevillente 6, which is in a MN 13 terrestrial horizon in Spain.

Generally the M1 are banana-shaped, with sinuous borderlines, due to the protruding cusps and indenting valleys. |
