Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. van de Weerd 1976O. sondaari is a small Occitanomys species. Its upper M1 has no or a weak t1 bis, the t6-t9 connection of the upper M1, upper M2 and the longitudinal spur of lower M1 and lower M2 are either weak or absent. The teeth of O. sondaari are smaller than those of O. adroveri and brailloni, but larger than those of P. hispanicus. In contrast with O. adroveri and O. brailloni, assemblages of O. sondaari contain some upper M1 and upper M2 without t6-t9 connection.
