It was assigned to Rhizamminidae by Cushman (1927); to Bathysiphoninidae by Morlotti (1988); to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Bathysiphonidae by Loeblich and Tappan (1988) and Kiessling (2003).
