Cricetodon aliveriensis

Taxonomy
Cricetodon aliveriensis was named by Klein Hofmeijer and de Bruijn (1988). It is not extant. Its type specimen is AMPG Al-542, a tooth (M1 sup. sin.). Its type locality is Aliveri, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial horizon in Greece.

The anterior protolophule of the M1 is incomplete, but the posterior one is complete. The posterior parts of the ectoloph of M1 and M2 are either short and low or absent.
