Taxonomy
Desmanella gudrunae was named by van den Hoek Ostende and Fejfar (2006). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMP Me, FE-Li7408-0001, a mandible (sin with p4-m3). Its type locality is Merkur-North, which is in an Orleanian fluvial-lacustrine marl/coal in the Most Formation of Czechia.
