Allorisma hannibalensis was named by Shumard and Swallow (1858) [Shumard in]. It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Grammysia hannibalensis by Walcott (1884) and Williams (1943); it was recombined as Ectogrammysia hannibalensis by Hoare et al. (1989).
