Anhanguera blittersdorffi
Taxonomy
Anhanguera blittersdorffi was named by Campos and Kellner (1985). Its type specimen is Blittersdorff collection, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.
