Marckgrafia libyca
Taxonomy
Marckgrafia libyca was named by Weiler (1935). Its type specimen is BSP 1912 VIII 135, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 500 m west of Gebel Maghrafe, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine claystone in the Bahariya Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Marckgrafia.
