Onchosaurus radicalis
Taxonomy
Onchosaurus radicalis was named by Gervais (1852). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meudon [Craie de Meudon], which is in a Campanian offshore shelf wackestone in the Craie de Meudon Formation of France. It is the type species of Onchosaurus, Onchosaurus (Onchosaurus).
It was recombined as Onchosaurus (Onchosaurus) radicalis by Arambourg (1940).
