Shanag ashile
Taxonomy
Shanag ashile was named by Turner et al. (2007). Its type specimen is IGM 100/1119, a skull, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is northeastern end, Öösh locality (AMNH/IGM), which is in a Cretaceous alluvial fan sandstone/siltstone in the Öösh Formation of Mongolia.
