Rhipidomella pecosi

Taxonomy
Orthis pecosii was named by Marcou (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pecos village, which is in a Kasimovian/Gzhelian carbonate limestone in the Alamitos Formation of New Mexico.

It was corrected as Orthis pecosi by White (1884); it was synonymized subjectively with Rhipidomella carbonaria by Hoare (1961); it was recombined as Rhipidomella pecosi by Tschernyschew (1902), Keidel (1906), Girty (1915), Yanagida (1967) and Chen and Shi (2006).
