Indocoelacanthus robustus
Taxonomy
Indocoelacanthus robustus was named by Jain (1974). Its type specimen is ISI P.40, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Lingal-Metpalli ridge, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian carbonate limestone in the Kota Formation of India. It is the type species of Indocoelacanthus.
