Amphechinus akespensis
Taxonomy
Amphechinus akespensis was named by Lopatin (1999). Its type specimen is PIN 210/735, a mandible (sin. with p4-m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Akespe, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial shale/claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.
