Prohyracodon obrutschewi
Taxonomy
Prohyracodon obrutschewi was named by Dashzeveg (1996). Its type specimen is PSS no 42/1, a partial skull (incomplete juvenile skull), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Dzamyn Ude, Quarry 1 Ergilin Dzo Formation, which is in an Eocene fluvial-lacustrine conglomerate/claystone in the Ergilin Dzo Formation of Mongolia.
