Grus nannodes
Taxonomy
Grus nannodes was named by Wetmore and Martin (1930). Its type specimen is UKMVP no. 3757, a limb element (fragmentary left metacarpus with the proximal end lacking), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Edson, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in Kansas.
