Panopea (Panopea) regularis

Taxonomy
Lutraria regularis was named by Ortmann (1900). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cape Melville Fm -Chaminé section, King George Island, which is in a Miocene offshore mudstone in the Cape Melville Formation of Antarctica.

It was recombined as Panopea regularis by Gazdzicki and Pugaczewska (1984); it was recombined as Panopea (Panopea) regularis by Anelli et al. (2006).
