Caseoides sanangeloensis
Taxonomy
Caseoides sanangeloensis was named by Olson and Beerbower (1953). Its type specimen is CNHM (FMNH) 151, a set of postcrania (limb elements and fragmentary vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality KP (San Angelo Fm.), which is in a Kungurian/Roadian terrestrial shale/conglomerate in the San Angelo Formation of Texas.
