Colospongia monilis
Taxonomy
Colospongia monilis was named by Rigby (1984). Its type specimen is USNM 340096 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6, Block C, mule trail between El Portachuelo and Mucuchachi, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal wackestone in the Palmarito Formation of Venezuela.
