Taxonomy
Szechuanophyllum armenicum was named by Kropatcheva (1989). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 20/12539 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baisal, Bed 8, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Arpa Formation of Azerbaijan.
