Leptocleidus superstes
Taxonomy
Leptocleidus superstes was named by Andrews (1922). Its type specimen is BMNH R4828, a partial skeleton (Skull with partial postcranium including cervical and dorsal vertebrae, pectoral elements and humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Berwick, which is in a Barremian marine claystone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
