Vercherites vercherei
Taxonomy
Koninckites vercherei was named by Waagen (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kotela (Rotta Roh), Khisor Range, which is in a Smithian carbonate marl in the Ceratite Marls Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Paranorites vercherei by Spath (1934); it was recombined as Vercherites vercherei by Brühwiler et al. (2010) and Brühwiler and Bucher (2012).
